The 200 year celebration has been scheduled
for October 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2008. Anyone
wishing to volunteer for this committee please
contact City Hall.
The Bicentennial Committee is
now selling Commemorative Postcard Booklets for
$10.00. The booklets feature 24 black & white
photos of Herculaneum. The photos depict the
Herculaneum churches, schools, commercial
buildings and the St. Joe Lead Company and are
printed are postcard stock suitable for mailing.
The photos are from the late 1910s and early
1920s. Postcard booklets are available at City
Hall.
The Bicentennial Committee is also selling
commemorative Bicentennial shirts that depict
the Bicentennial logos on the front left breast
and on the back side. Shirts are available in
sizes, small - medium - large - extra large - XXL and XXXL. Shirts are available in red with
white lettering and ash (light gray) with black
lettering. The Bicentennial shirts are available
at City Hall for $10.00.
Other Bicentennial commemorative items coming
in the near future: embroidered baseball style
caps with the Bicentennial logo, a set of three
commemorative coins, lapel pins, embroidered
patches and commemorative postal cachets.
